J. Elizabeth Beth Kellum, a senior official of the legal profession in Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals, is the place to 1 position on the court is free if the judges in place HW “Bucky” McMillan enters the age of Retirement in this Year.

Kellum considers himself a Republican life and was active in the Alabama Republican Party for many years.

Kellum faces of the opposition in June Republican primary election of former Montgomery County District Judge Lucie McLemore, Jefferson County Circuit Judge Teresa Petelos and Montgomery County District Judge Peggy Givhan.
Democratic candidate fighting for McMillan is the seat of Jefferson County Circuit Judge Clyde Jones and Assistant Attorney General Steve Dodd.
