A former conservative activist now pressure on civil unions
In a dramatic turnaround, a woman, once led the charge against gay marriage in Hawaii is now lobbying state lawmakers, civil unions.
Debi Hartmann works with gay activists and Democratic heads of states to adopt civil unions, have the same rights as traditional marriage. The move is a reversal of Hartmann, once completed, Hawaii’s future today, a group of conservative Mormons, Catholics and others, against homosexual unions.
